This year’s theme brings the classic Christmas carol The Little Drummer Boy to life through an immersive visual display, produced by Electric Canvas, the creative team behind VIVID Sydney. As night falls, the Cathedral’s iconic façade and stained-glass windows transform into a kaleidoscope of colour, inviting visitors to sing along and soak up the atmosphere.

With roaming performers, nightly stage performances and Christmas markets to explore, the experience is perfect for families, couples and visitors looking to enjoy Sydney’s festive celebrations. Christmas at the Cathedral runs daily from 5:30pm to 10:30pm, Wednesday 17 December to Thursday 25 December, with lights turning on at 8:30pm each evening.
