The hotel’s design pays tribute to the original 1876 Porter House by weaving history into each of the 122 guest rooms. Warm, modern tones of dusty pink and mushroom grey define the interior colour palette, creating an inviting atmosphere. Inspired by Porter House’s history as a tobacco and leather merchant, designers incorporated elements of leather, pressed tin, and organic textures throughout the space. Soft curves and arches shape the design, while bed lamps – one vintage, one modern – playfully highlight the blend of heritage and contemporary elegance that defines this magnificent destination.
